    A roadmap for the promotion of sustainable, responsible and inclusive investments and business practices for the realization of decent work in Egypt, built upon the ILO Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy (ILO MNE Declaration) was presented after a three-day workshop facilitated by the ILO with representatives from Government, Employers’ and Workers’ organizations in attendance.

    Call for consultant: Supply and demand of financial services for agricultural value chains in Sierra Leone

    The ILO is looking for a consultant to update and complement a review of Sierra Leone’s financial services sector. The review focuses on internal and external value chain finance and will build on earlier ILO assessments in 2017 and 2020. The review will include a mapping of existing approaches, gaps and potential entry points for the financial sector in the agricultural value chain as well as identifying potential actors in agricultural value chains that would benefit from it. The deadline for submitting applications is 10 May 2022.

The course is run jointly by World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
